Oops. You may have noticed with the end of November approaching there has been some radio silence. Team R/R has not been as organised as needs-be, and so the unconf won’t be happening this year. Sorry to disappoint! We are thinking about Feb/March 2013 (once the holiday shenanigans settle down again and everyone returns to regularly scheduled programming). Radio jokes, they are more numerous than I appreciated.

Time to get started I guess! We have a venue and a date, time to put the word out there and get some attendees! 🙂

Things to be completed soon:

• Registration prices and form
• Look at catering options that could be nice and cheap
• Locate/Write up an intro history to community radio in Melbourne/Australia
• Word spreading! Twitter perhaps?

Would it make sense to have a “attendees” mailing list? It could be useful for people to talk to each other before the event. It’s hard to know how much people will have a sense of how an unconference works, or what about this event will be interesting to them.
